(SUPER PRODUCER) Jim Jonsin` Stole - Slim Thug’s Beat “I Run!”

Say it ain’t so, @IamJimJonsin. Hip-hop super producer Jim Jonsin is the target of a pending lawsuit from South Florida producer Jason Jaggon claims Jonsin used his instrumental titled ‘Just C U’ for or a record on @slimthugga’s Boss Of All Bosses LP titled ‘I Run This’:

In 2008, Jason shared his beats with a friend that insisted he was acquainted with rappers that would be interested in purchasing his copyrighted material. In February of 2009, he became shocked to hear the beat to his track ‘Just C U’ on Slim Thug’s ‘I Run,’ featured on the album Boss of All Bosses, produced by Jim Jonsin. The similarity between the tracks was substantial. Jonsin never formally approached Jaggon pertaining to the usage of his copyrighted material, thus resulting in broken infringement laws.

According to documents filed in Florida Southern District Court, the aforementioned wrongfully proceeded and participated in the exploitation of the musical composition ‘I Run,’ including marketing and distribution, in turn earning millions of dollars. Jaggon has invested a great amount of time in creating his original ideas, and currently remains uncompensated. The judge presiding over this case is Judge Marcia G. Cooke, within the Florida Southern District Court.
